Thredbo

From the village centre to the mountain peaks Thredbo has it all. This resort offers over 480 hectares of terrain with the longest slopes in Australia, and nearly 50% more vertical skiing and snowboarding than any other resort in the country.

Thredbo is a ski field designed with every skier and snowboarder in mind. Friday Flat was purpose-built for beginners — no T-Bars here! Long and varied supertrails abound to accommodate the intermediate and advanced skiers. There’s plenty of groomed trails, challenging off-piste runs filled with natural hits and powder filled chutes, not to mention the 3 terrain parks boasting table tops, jumps, rails and one of the biggest half pipes in Australia!

Thredbo’s famous alpine village comes alive with apres ski activities, and from the moment you arrive you’ll get into the flow of its friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere. With an excellent variety of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, everything from a romantic dinner to a late and lively night of entertainment is right at hand.
